1. Introduction

Velocoin provides a platform for digital asset binary trading. This document sets out rules, restrictions, and the operational framework governing binary trading on Velocoin. By using the Platform you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Binary Trading Policy and applicable platform terms.

2. Definitions

  • Binary Trading means derivative trading where the Trader speculates on whether the price of a selected crypto asset will increase or decrease within a predefined time frame.
  • Velocoin VELO means the Platform native token identified as VELO and listed by Velocoin with specific terms.

  • Maximum Investment means the largest permissible amount to open a single binary trade in a category.

3. Investment Categories and Restrictions

The Platform classifies tradable assets into five categories with specified ROI ranges, participation limits, and risk levels. These categories are used only for Platform pricing and risk management and do not constitute financial advice.

4. Trading Rules

  • All trades must comply with the category specific minimum and maximum investment limits shown above.
  • Traders must fund trades from legitimate personal or approved investment accounts. Use of third party funds is permitted only with clear written authorization accepted by Velocoin and subject to additional verification requirements.
  • Binary trades are fixed risk. The maximum loss on a trade is the trade investment. Payouts for successful trades follow Platform payout tables and are final once the trade outcome is determined.
  • Only assets officially listed on Velocoin are permitted for binary trading. Listing decisions follow internal listing rules and compliance review.
  • Velocoin may refuse, suspend, cancel, or settle trades in cases of manifest error, system malfunction, market disruption, or suspected fraud subject to its error resolution procedures.

5. Fees and Charges

All binary trades are subject to a transactional fee of nine point five percent that is applied to the trade investment unless a different fee is explicitly stated for a specific campaign or institutional arrangement. Fees are collected upfront prior to trade execution.

Fees may be allocated differently for co investment arrangements provided such allocation is agreed between co investors and recorded prior to execution. Velocoin reserves the right to change fee rates. Changes will be posted on the Platform and effective upon publication unless required by law to provide advance notice.

6. Risk Disclosure

Binary trading is inherently speculative and may result in partial or total loss of invested funds. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Before trading you must ensure that you understand the mechanics of binary instruments and confirm that you can bear losses without impacting your financial obligations.

Regulatory and fraud warnings

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission and the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission have issued investor alerts and advisories regarding binary options trading and associated fraud risks. Platforms that offer binary trading may be the subject of regulatory scrutiny and enforcement where activities occur off regulated markets or where consumer protections are insufficient. Velocoin operates a compliance program aligned with applicable guidance and will cooperate with lawful investigations. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

7. Legal and Compliance

Velocoin operates subject to applicable laws and regulatory guidance in jurisdictions in which it offers binary trading. Traders must confirm they are legally permitted to participate in binary trading in their jurisdiction prior to transacting. Where required by law, Velocoin will restrict access to users from specified jurisdictions.

Key compliance obligations that apply to our service model include anti money laundering and customer due diligence obligations. Velocoin enforces identity verification and enhanced due diligence consistent with FinCEN guidance for convertible virtual currency businesses. Failure to complete verification when requested may result in suspension of trading privileges. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

8. Surveillance, Monitoring and Enforcement

Velocoin employs automated surveillance and manual review to detect suspicious account behavior, market manipulation, wash trading, spoofing, and other abusive trading patterns. Confirmed violations will result in disciplinary action including trade reversal where technically necessary, account suspension, forfeiture of gains, and referral to law enforcement or regulators.

Where activity suggests fraudulent or abusive conduct, Velocoin reserves the right to retain funds pending investigation and to provide relevant records to regulators and law enforcement in accordance with legal obligations. The Platform aligns its surveillance program with current regulatory expectations for market integrity and customer protection. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

9. Withdrawal and Settlement

  • Payouts for winning trades are credited to the user account in accordance with the Platform payout table and are subject to standard withdrawal processes and any applicable hold periods required for compliance.
  • Velocoin may delay or withhold withdrawals for regulatory reasons, suspicious activity investigations, or to comply with court orders or lawful process.

10. Account Suspension, Termination and Dispute Resolution

Velocoin may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, failure to complete verification, or regulatory direction. Users will be provided with instructions for withdrawing any eligible balances subject to applicable holds and legal requirements.

Disputes should first be raised with customer support. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution terms in the Platform Terms of Service which may include binding arbitration in a specified jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory local rules.

11. Representations, Warranties and Indemnity

By using binary trading services you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the funds for trading, that your use is lawful in your jurisdiction, and that you will comply with Platform rules. You agree to indemnify Velocoin against losses arising from your breach of this Policy or unlawful conduct.
